Description: Are you a classic gaming enthusiast? Feeling nostalgic? Want a machine that plays classic Windows 95/98 games? Well, you've come to the right place. This is a fully restored gaming computer from the year 2000. It features a 1.0 Ghz Pentium 3(Coppermine) processor, with 512 MBs of system ram. The Intel Pentium 3 processor was groundbreaking for it's time.Legendary for it's speed and gaming capabilities. This particular build adds additional possibilities as well as improved speed and reliability. In addition, the Ide hard drives has been replaced with a super fast Sata solid state hard drive. And a second SSD for additional storage. Both drives are around 120 Gigabytes in storage capacity, and are made by Kingston. Which is an excellent brand for storage and solid state hard drives. Programs and games run much quicker and efficiently using ssd's in comparison to regular Ide hard drives. Seriously,These ssd's vastly improve the speed and performance of the system. This has been accomplished via Sata to Ide adapters. Windows ME is installed as the operating system for this computer. As it was the default operating system for this pc when it was built. It runs excellent, and is very reliable. This system is capable of running most Windows 95/98 pc games and software from the era. Something that is nearly impossible to do on a modern day Pc and operating system without the use of emulation. All on original hardware. In addition, I have included a collection of over 1400 games from a collection of coin operated video games. These range from the 1970s to the 1990s. Something for everyone to enjoy. Although there are some cosmetic blemishes to the exterior of the case, in no way does this impact the functionality of the machine. Everything runs better than it did back in 2000. The operating systems boots much, much quicker as well. In addition I have installed a 4- port USB 2.0 pci card. This allows addition hardware to be connected to the pc such as flash drives or USB controllers. I've also installed a dedicated Agp video card with Dvi out. The display is much better and capable of much higher screen resolutions. With an adapter, this output allows connection to an hdmi TV or monitor. I will supply the dvi to hdmi adapter, along with an hdmi cable. You can also use a Vga output on the video card, to hook up to a standard Crt monitor if desired. The video card is an ATI Radeon 9200SE. It is a 64 Mb video card, running with a 200 mhz frequency. Perfect for retro gaming. The computer is also equipped with 2 optical drives. One is a DVD writer, and the other is a CD-RW writer. Both drives are capable of burning discs as well as playing games, music, and installing and or running software applications. The 3 1/2 inch floppy disc drive also works perfectly. Please contact me with any questions regarding the system before committing to a purchase. As all sales are final, there are no refunds. I'll do my best to answer all of your questions. I'd highly recommend NOT using this machine to connect to the internet in 2025. Since the operating system is so old and security updates are probably 20 years out of date. This would not be advisable for this machine.
