Description: Very nice GENUINE LEATHER - Replacement Handle for a Singer Featherweight 221 Case whether it is Type I (1933), Type II (1934-1935) or Type III (1935-1946). It is similar in style to the handle that came on the cases originally. There are D-rings furnished with the new handle if you need them; however, you can use the original D-rings if you prefer. The handle itself is approx. 5-3/4" long and at the widest point it is pprox. 1-1/8" wide. Fits perfectly as shown in the second picture. The handle in the picture shows the handle has WHITE STITCHING on it. UPDATE---The lastest shipment of the handles we received has BLACK STITCHING, NOT WHITE. We have none with the white stitching anymore. This handle DOES NOT have a SEAM in the middle of the handle on top like some new handles do. It is REAL LEATHER rather than faux leather or plastic like some other new handles currently for sale. The split D-rings make it easy to install on the case. LOOKS GREAT - COMFORTABLE FOR YOUR HAND.
