Description: Well....here in Boston we all remember, if we're old enough, what the Hell on earth happened one night in Shea Stadium that probably caused many Red Sox fans to burn, bury, or turn this tee shirt into a car mechanic's wiping cloth. We had whole Sox generations come and go without seeing a Series win, that night was absolutely the most painful of them all. I'd never have torn this away from a collector friend if he didn't have like 6 of them; this is one of only two that he wore, but ever so gently. It seems that the most wear and tear happened to the Screen Stars label; it got brittle over the years but it is intact. As of this writing there was no other such exact thing as this listed on eBay, nor sold in the past 90 days. A chance here to get a relatively harder to find item for your cool tee shirt or Red Sox memorabilia stash. Otherwise, It's in fab condition, only a few decades of a bit of mustiness got into it from decades in an attic since he wore it. So a good airing out took that away....If you're going to wear it proudly I'd say gently wash it by hand and air dry so to keep its shape "holy". See the pics they tell the story.
