Description: This original photograph was not found with a gun. It has been in the collection of an antiquarian for several years. The writing on the back was added some time after 1953. Someone has also taken the liberty of adding a newspaper clipping to the back of it. What’s interesting is a .32 caliber pistol believed to have been hidden by Bonnie Parker was discovered after her death. In 1933, during a raid on one of Bonnie and Clyde's hideouts in Joplin, Missouri, police found a Colt .32-caliber pistol hidden in the house. It was reportedly Bonnie's weapon. Additionally, when Bonnie and Clyde were ambushed and killed by law enforcement officers in 1934, Bonnie was found with a .32 caliber revolver taped to her thigh. Whether or not this photograph was ever with a gun related to one of those two guns is a mystery. The photograph measures 5” x 3 1/8”. Item comes in acrylic display with a stand. The item is sleeved inside the display for added protection.
