Description: This is a very nice - Old Antique 1800s Oil Kerosene Lamp with Cast Iron Base and underside stamped "PAT' APPL'D FOR" Has an awesome 8 sided "Pyramid" looking cast iron base! Not sure if the silver paint is original. Also has a nice glass body with nice design elements. Looks to be in nice condition with just a few small flea-bite type chips around the rim of the glass body. Also has some paint loss on the base. Does not come with a chimney or burner. The brass threaded top has a roughly 1 1/4" opening. lamp is about 10" tall, by about 5 1/4" diameter at the bottom of the base. It weighs about 3.5 lbs. A super nice lamp!
