The Magni-Orb was imported around 1970 by Paul Hall, San Diego. The round ball is held to the base by a strong magnetic field (notes can be placed between the two pieces). You can move the ball away from the center of the base and it rolls back and forth until it finally settles in the middle, again. The base measures about 3-7/8 inches square.
