Description: A collection of FOUR vintage 1930s German Celluloid Figural Tape Measures. Wow! Look at how well they've all aged!! A Policeman and a Swashbuckler. Both 'Human Figures' stand 2" tall with original functional tapes!! that open and retract well. They open to 18" and both tapes are in clean, crisp appearance of bright white color and clean print. Tapes show measurement in cm on one side, inches on the other side. Included are a Flounder, and a Fruit Basket. These two are in perfect appearance condition, but no longer have functional tapes. Also included is a copy of the Arbittier and Morphy Collection Guide book (soft cover 1995 edition). All four pieces are in impeccable condition: no signs of wear, chips or scratches. NOTE: Swashbuckler / Seaman has some sign of imperfection (see the two identifying pix with arrows). Imperfection is under the shiny surface, though, and perhaps originates in manufacturing? This is a wonderful gathering of collectible pieces, coming from the home of original owners.
