Description: Rare Antique Victorian Ornate Door Knob Handle BACKPLATE Russell And Erwin This is an Antique Bronze or Brass Cast Door Knob Back Plate. It measures 8 1/16" tall. From everything I have seen on line it is attributed to Russell and Erwin. I purchased this with some Russell and Erwin Door Knobs, so I think it probably is. It is a Heavy Cast Plate, not stamped or pressed. Overall it is in Very Good Condition with normal wear and patina from age and use. Please see my pictures. Thanks for looking.
