Description: This is a rare and limited edition Barbie and the Rockers Derek fashion doll by Mattel. It comes packaged in its original unopened box and includes a variety of accessories like Derek's Tuxedo outfit complete with cummerbund, extra Rockers tshirt, shoes, socks, a microphone, and a child sized, Rockers iron-on decal. The doll has molded wavy brown hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. It is a single unit and is not handmade. He stands 11 3/4" talls. The very hard to find Derek doll is part of the Barbie and the Rockers series and was manufactured in Taiwan in 1985. It is a timeless treasure and a great collector's gift for all occasions. The doll and accessories are made of vinyl, cloth, paper, and plastic and weighs 1.5 lbs. It is an original and not a licensed reproduction. The packaging includes package pressouts like posters, Gold album award, record covers, tickets, and photographs. This doll is perfect for teens and adults who love music and Barbie. Derek comes in his unopened original box. Box is 39 years old and does have minor blemishes. There is a tag string still in picture I have removed. I will post an updated picture.
