Description: Rare R. Crawford Painting - Painting with Frame measures : 21.5 x 26.5 inches Abstract precisionist painting consisting mostly of primary colors and brown for a simplified composition. There is a particular version of this painting from 1934, called Vertical Building, 1934. However, the texture is a lot more smooth. This could be a study for the larger painting or possibly a tribute painting. Seems about the right age. However not sure of when exactly it was painted as there is no date. Painting has uniform light texture throughout signature is on the lower right corner as "RC", see detail photo Priced very fair for this great find. The gold frame has numerousabrasions and chips, I have touched up some spots with gold paint.
