Description: Original circa 1874-1877 cabinet mount stereoview photo. The stereoview is No. 481 & it shows the “Miles Standish Pot and Platter”. The back has the marking “A. S. Burbank, Bookseller and Stationer, Odd Fellows’ Block Main Street, Plymouth, Mass. Photographed and Published by Kilburn Brothers, Littleton, N. H.” The sepia stereoview photos are mounted on a buff colored rounded corner mount that is slightly curved. The mount measures 7 inches long by 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The card has minor wear at the edges. The bottom right hand corner is bumped. The back has a vertical strip of red wax adhering (possibly from a candle). There is a small surface scuff off of the paper at the bottom of the strip of wax where a former owner apparently tried to remove the wax (without success). Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value. This item is inventory #6765.
