PITCHER American Brilliant Period Cut glass Crystal Pitkins & Brooks "Eureka"

Description: I will be selling pieces from my personal collection of American Brilliant Cut glass, so please add me to your favorite seller list for future rare pieces. .........................................................This is a gorgeous Beverage Pitcher / Tankard / Jug - Measure: 10" tall and 5-1/2" wide in the base. It has a 4" wide rim. Its 7-1/2" long from spout to handle.It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! .The full size traditional style body, with the punty cut handle and thumb spot. The top rim in a rounded sawtooth which makes it more durable, while the spout is fluted and notched for added bling. This was made by Pitkins & Brooks, and it is the "Eureka" pattern. This Exact piece is seen in the 1909 Pitkins catalog on page 1909-18. As the Eureka Jug, 4054 1/2, and it cost 7.50 back in the day to order one. It has large whirling buzzstar / pinwheels with additional geometric details of strawberry diamond, crosshatching, hobstars, and fans. Nice piece with lots of geometric motifs. This blank is of good quality like P&B insisted on. Condition: This is 110 years old by now, but its in amazing condition for its age. This has no chips or cracks. No spout chips, No rim chips, No handle damage, firmly attached. No clouding stains. It beautiful with only the expected minor scratches on bottom from age. ..........................................................No Returns! : Sorry but due to cost of shipping & insurance for this heavy glass, I have a No returns policy! USPS will send a letter within a week asking for the item to be brought in for inspection, while other companies may come to the residence for the inspection by appointment.
