Description: Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for a Pioneer SX-950. This is for both the power supply board underneath as well as the protection board up top. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-950 power supply board and protection board. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes the following: Power supply kit: 12 capacitors10 transistors12 diodes (2 zener) Protection board kit:6 capacitors7 transistors9 diodes (including one for the diode mod) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC, Nichicon, and Wima film caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings and the transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/OnSemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit should fix almost any SX-950 power supply and protection board issues. Please see my pictures for details.
