Description: Offered is the 9-Tube Philco Model 90 Radio Chassis. This type is the one with a single 47 output tube. Clean overall, no built-up crud, rust or major grime-the chassis looks good. Tubes included, tested OK. All tubes light up when variac-tested, produced hum and audio when tested with a speaker. With rectifier tube removed, 5 volt filament and Hi voltage measured OK. Line cord is missing. Radio Dial is in good condition. All tube shields in place. The gang shield is also in good condition-it has some marks and stains but overall, it looks good as does the paper tube chart affixed. Electronics below appear original with the exception of two Sprague 600 Line caps added, and they too are in good condition. 4-Pin Speaker plug on the back is also undamaged. Power Transformer black factory finish is in good condition, with no rust-it is marked part. no. 5362P, which is the correct number for this chassis. These chassis will fit both the console models as well as the popular model 90 cathedrals.
