I love these Peruvian pendants created with mother of pearl, abalone shell, and many colors of spiny oyster, lapis, and coral. Here we have a playful happy dolphin created with gold lip mother of pearl shell and green Chrysocolla for the eyes. If you have been looking for a Peruvian pendant, this is a great one! The pendant is not marked Peru or shows an artist hallmark. This is mostly due to the fact early Peruvian vintage pieces are just marked 950. Also, this mosaic design comes mostly from Peru, so that’s where I believe this pendant comes from. Since the dolphin pendant was a preowned item, I cleaned it with an electromagnetic cleaner with sanitizer so it’s ready to wear…yay clap clap clap!!!! Also, the pendant is a vintage piece with minor scratches and a bit of patina too! The jewelry will be shipped inside the kraft jewelry gift box with raffia bow pictured.
