Description: Peavey Basic 60 amplifier removed from the Basic 60 cabinet. This is the 240V version. 50W rated amp per Peavey. I purchased a "step up" transformer to provide 240V to the amplifier to test. No sound output. I verified the transformer output is providing the correct voltage to the plug. No sound output. My conclusion is the amp is broken and therefore for parts or not working. (I confirmed the speaker under test was working.) Note the type of power plug in the last two pictures. I looked for obvious stuff like broken connectors, swelling of the capacitors, etc. Hopefully someone knows how to fix this and put it back to use.
