Description: Parker 404XR 100mm Precision Ball Screw Positioner Table/Linear Actuator Stage Heavy duty, precision motorized linear stage made by Parker Hannifin. This is Parker Model 404XR which uses a 16mm diameter, 5mm pitch ballscrew and dual linear rail bearings to provide 8um accuracy and 1.3um repeatability over it's 100mm range. Maximum screw speed is 60 RPS which works out to a max stage movement of 300mm/s. Rated for a load of up to 170kg. These come with a NEMA 17 inline adapter plate and zero backlash 5mm shaft coupler. NEMA 23 and 34 adapter plates are available from Parker (Part Nos. 002-3615-01 and 002-3617-01). On request, we'll include a 3D printed NEMA 23 adapter plate which fits well, but may reduce the load capacity. While spec'd for 100mm (4 inches) travel, the stop to stop distance is closer to 120mm. The overall length w/o motor is about 14.5 inches. 12 short-head M6 mounting screws are included. Regular hex screws are too tall and will interfere with motion.
