Description: My heart skipped a beat when I saw these at a sale today. They speak SO much of an era. The yellow wooden frames, the abstract artworks and the crushed velvet in the frame. THE CRUSHED VELVET. I almost swooned. The frames could use a little cleaning and have some nicks and such, but I like that those are certainly the original frames. The back on each has that cryptic lettering at the very top. Don't you just love a mystery? The still life seems to be two flowers in a transparent vase and a tray with some sort of goodies on the lefthand side. The tree looks to me to be like a weeping willow in a kind of Klimt style. These are true vintage and there may be some vintage flaws. The velvet color is a kind of green with a tinge of brown and yellow.
