It is a massive plant with huge harvests, but does not compromise on taste. It has huge leaves that can grow to over 30" in length and 18" in width. Pa Broadleaf tobacco is a very old and well respected cigar tobacco. Unlike many other cigar types, it is, and has always been, an American Tobacco Strain. It is best know for it's Maduro and Oscuro wrapper leaf, but it makes fine sun grown wrapper and excellent filler as well. This is the defining leaf in many well known cigars such as the Diesel and AJ Fernandez lines. PA Broadleaf in a medium sized plant with very generously sized leaves regularly measuring 15" wide and 28" long. We found this strain to be very hardy. It thrived this past year, which was a very dry summer. It also has excellent disease resistance. Overall it is perfect strain for new home cigar rollers. It pairs top notch yields with excellent quality leaf.
