Description: This is “The Glass Eye” (Volume 2, Issue 10), a previously-owned B&W newsprint ‘zine published in January 1996. This particular issue features interviews with classic rock god Ozzy Osbourne, adult-film actress Julia Parton, San Diego rock act Rocket from the Crypt, Southern Culture On the Skids, and MxPx, plus a review/pictorial of “SKE-Ball ’95” (a two-day concert featuring Porn Flakes, Section 315, Gone Daddy Finch, the Mark Mikel Hallucination, Colossus of the Fall, Five Story Fall, Harm’s Way, Chicken Dog and more)… Please note: this magazine is over 20 years old, so expect a little yellowing and some general wear and/or a few creases (not many of these still exist). There are no outrageous rips or tears, and no writing inside. “The Glass Eye” was an independent music and entertainment ‘zine that lasted from 1994 to 2004, based in Toledo, Ohio (yet distributed in areas of Cleveland, Warren/Youngstown, Sandusky, and Detroit). It was a free bound magazine with a print-run somewhere between 5000-10,000 copies per issue and featured about four of five exclusive interviews every month (meaning they did not appear anywhere else). Apparently, they are hard-to-find now and little of the content is available online. It also features pages of commentaries, record reviews, advertisements, rap reviews, editorials, concert and club schedules, comics and grainy photos. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
