Miller who had quite the career in five divisions in the US Army during and after WWII. Private, Company M, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division at Fort Lewis, Washington, 1941. Attended OCS. 2nd Lieutenant, Company D, 232nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Division at Camp McClellan, Alabama, 1942. Captain, Company H, 232nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Division, Camp McClellan & ETO, 1943-1944. Captain, 69th Division, ETO, circa 1944-1945. Captain, 104th Division, ETO, circa 1944-1945.
