Playing pieces are plated with 22 carat gold and plated sterling silver.Each sculptured playing piece is set on a lead crystal base.Set does not come in a box and has a few superficial scratches around outer edges of board - see photos 5,6,7,8. There is the remainder of a label that was put on inside of rim of set, can be removed, however, this is such a beautiful set I would leave to buyer - you can see in photos 3 and 4.
