Great for handgun and frag protection in any plate carrier with 10x12" pockets. Besides being light, about 15 ounces, these inserts are soft, flexible and comfortable and just over 1/4" thick. They are made of some the best ballistics in the world military grade kevlar and spectra for better ballistics and less blunt trauma and are thinner and lighter than all Kevlar.
