Description: You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos. It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed. Would work well for a personal prayer peace pipe or make a fine addition to any collection. The stone was quarried from the sacred quarries at the Pipestone National Monument located near by. It is authentic Pipestone quarried by hand. This pipe is smaller and would work well as a personal prayer pipe since it is basically only large enough for one or maybe two people to smoke from. The bowl itself measures 3-1/8 inches long and stands 2-1/8 inches tall. Each pipe is beautiful and unique in its own way. Be sure to look closely at the photos for the finer details. The stem alone measures 9 inches long. The Pine stem is beaded with a deer hide leather fringes and a random assortment of different color beads. The exterior is burned to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. The stem is made from line, cut into two pieces, a hole ripped in the middle and glued back together. I have pictures of the pipe and stem joined together to show you the pipe is drilled straight. Special care will be needed when joining pipe and stem. All pipes, but especially These smaller ones are fragile. Insert the stem slowly with a gently twist and only up the point you feel resistance. My stems are not designed to be seeded all the way to the shoulders. The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 11-1/2 inches long. The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself.
