Description: Custom Skyhorse Saddle- Show or Pleasure Beautiful, custom Show/Pleasure saddle made by Lisa and Loren Skyhorse of Skyhorse Saddle Co. Durango Colorado. Hand-crafted using only the finest materials; this saddle was built on a genuine Bowman rawhide covered tree. 16.5” seat with 6 ¾” bar spread and 7 ½” gullet height. Saddle is lined with genuine sheepskin. Also included is a cinch, leather saddle strings and a padded saddle cover/carrier. This one-of-a-kind saddle features a low pleasure seat of dark brown, inlaid Buffalo leatherwith 3” cantle – Cheyenne Roll. Loren Skyhorse’s signature kangaroo leather braiding on fork, cantle and horn. Unique, hand tooled/carved Lotus Blossom pattern. Silver conchos and corner plates are hand engraved, solid sterling silver with pure copper floral overlay which adds an understated elegance to this lovely work of art. I first met Lisa and Loren Skyhorse in 2007 at a horseshow in Scottsdale, Arizona. They are true saddle artists and had some of their hand-crafted, uniquely beautiful western saddles on display. They were the most incredible saddles I had ever seen. I knew I had to own one and I instantly imagined a saddle carved with an elegant Lotus Blossom pattern while still maintaining a western style. When I spoke to Lisa Skyhorse about it, I knew she understood exactly what I wanted and this uniquely beautiful saddle is the result of Lisa and Loren’s combined efforts, skill and experience. When I purchased this saddle, my horse was a yearling, so I stored it in my home in its saddle case until my horse was ready to show. A few years passed and unfortunately, I developed some health issues which prevented me from ever using this “saddle of my dreams”.
