Description: NELSON MCCOY YELLOW BUTTERFLY PLANTER VASE 1940'S USA.NM Pottery Rare Vintage. It is what I call a half log shape, a long type planter. 5.5 inches long by 3 inches wide by approx 2 3/4 inches tall. Footed to keep it from rolling. the rounded shape is covered with Butterfly shapes, and leaves. These are raised and can be felt if you rub your fingers across it, the inside is smooth. There is a green spot on one side, see pictures, that I believe happened at the factory, at least it won't come off with anything I can use without harming the soft matte finish. I am not sure whether this is antique or vintage, the 1940s was awhile ago.. A very pretty cheerful yellow for your plant or for you McCoy or Nelson McCoy pottery collection. I cannot find any chips or cracks and really don't see crazing, but could be some, considering its age. See Pictures and email questions. Shipping will be USPS GrAdv to be paid by the buyer.
