Description: Nancy Drew 13 The Mystery Of The Ivory Charm With Dust Jacket 1943 .This is a wartime printing so the pages are very yellowed. Dust Jacket: Front cover of dust jacket has small missing pieces in each corner, all along right edge there is wear and crease marks, on top edge and just below there are a number of deep creases and creasing and a tear from top edge above cy of Nancy and down through the y of Nancy and into the yellow line below that, there are a few nicks here and there on dust jacket cover face, on bottom edge there is some heavy creasing in both corners. On spine of dust jacket there is some yellowing, on bottom edge there is creasing and a missing piece in right corner and a small one in left corner and rumpling on bottom edge, there is a crease that runs from top to bottom meandering from center left at top to center right at bottom and is double creased and some crease marks going perpendicular to it here and there and the creases have a brown discoloration probably from age, on top edge there is a missing piece in both corners and there is rumpling, creasing and a couple small missing pieces and perhaps a small tear or two. On back cover of dust jacket there is a missing piece in both top corners and creasing along top edge and bottom edge and both sides and the creasing on the left side has a brown discoloration to it in many areas and there is some marks here and there, light grey cloud marks here and there on back of dust jacket and there is yellowing and a list of The Beverly Gray Mystery Stories ending with Beverly Gray's Problem. On front inner dust jacket flap there is yellowing and a list of Nancy Drew books ending with The Quest of the Missing Map, there are numbers in black in bottom left corner 110-150, there is some creasing on bottom and top edges and a deep crease and possible small tear at extreme bottom left corner near edge. On back inner dust jacket flap there is yellowing and creasing along top edge and a couple small tears and some brown discoloration on edge and some creasing on bottom edge and along right edge, there is a list of Dana Girls Mystery Stories ending with The Portrait In The Sand. Cover: On front cover of book, the top right corner is in nice shape, the bottom right corner is bent and creased, the left corners are rumpled and have some wear, under ad on Carolyn Keene, at bottom are some small brown or orange discoloration marks and one near left edge a ways up side. On spine of cover the corners have some wear and the top and bottom edge are creased and rumpled some. On back of cover both left corners have wear through blue material in small areas and are bent down some, the left corners have some wear and minor rumpling, on back cover there are light gray blotches and solid marks over the bottom half and some sparse of this on top half and top right corner there is a tear along edge between back book cover and spine around 1/8" long. Interior: In front endpaper it is yellowed as all pages in this wartime book are and more so around all edges and center near spine, with front endpaper there are small brown blotch marks mostly near spine and there is a former price in pencil and other info on top right center and a former owner name and date below that in ink. On back endpaper there is yellowing and more so on left of left page and same on right page of front endpaper possibly from touching dust jacket so many years and on back on back endpaper there is some minor brown blotching but not much and on top right center in ink it is written book 13. On front title page there is a hole in page at bottom and a tear under that to the edge and a small missing piece in bottom corner of that page (see photo). There is a small piece at bottom of page 30 about to come off, does not come anywhere near text. On bottom edges of pages 37 on there is a small amount of roughness. There is a small dog ear in top right corner of 53. Small minute tears on bottom edge of pages 51-58. There is a 1/4' tear in bottom right corner of page 58 and just over 1/2" diagonal from edge going right at bottom left corner of page 59. Between pages 58 and 59 there is deep separation between those pages at spine, nothing is falling out it is all intact but there is separation seen and spine is clearly seen here (see photo) and can be seen on some following pages. There are similar diagonal tears on pages 63-79 and 83, 85-145,151-162,176,181,186,189 in same general area as 59 and a larger tear in same area on page 187. There is a discoloration mark on page 191 at bottom right and a small tear on right edge of this page and 203,205,211 and 215. Small missing piece in bottom corner of 79 and top right of 81 and dogear in bottom right of 81. There are small missing pieces on bottom edge of 81,85,137 and 154. On back pages there is a list of Nancy Drew books ending with The Mystery At The Moss Covered Mansion and The Judy Bolton Mystery Stories ending with The Midnight Visitor. There are no missing pages in this book.
