The buyer should not assume that they are purchasing the rights to sell or distribute in any way the music contained on the tape.** Opportunity to own a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of My Bloody Valentine memorabilia, the MASTER TAPE of an audience recording I personally made of the band on February 18, 1992 at The Moon nightclub/concert venue in Tallahassee, Florida. I recorded the concert from the front near center section of the balcony with an external stereo microphone and recorder (after all these years I don't remember the exact model). I positioned the mike so that it was sitting on the front rail or ledge of the balcony over the general admission floor area, approximately 100-150 feet from the stage. The concert was recorded on a TDK SA-90 high bias tape. The tape is housed in a standard plastic cassette case with cardboard insert. The concert is complete and runs just under 55 minutes. Please note a few seconds of between-song guitar feedback are missing from when I quickly turned the tape over somewhere around the 40 minute mark. The sound quality is in the very good+/excellent range for an audience tape. It is trebly, but the concert sounded that way live with maximum noise and feedback and little bass in the mix, so it is an accurate representation of the sound mix at the show. Audience noise is minimal and only audible between songs. If you are familiar with the band and their sound you will be very happy with the quality. It sounds great when played very loud! I dubbed copies of the tape for a few friends at the time of the show and burned a CDR copy in 1999, then put the tape in storage, where it remained untouched until a few weeks ago. I recently played the tape for the first time in 20+ years with a TASCAM 302 Japanese tape deck and transferred the complete concert to both FLAC and high quality mp3 formats using Audacity. **I will provide the concert on both FLAC and high quality mp3 formats on a flash drive to the purchaser of the tape.** Condition:The tape is in excellent condition and has been stored in a smoke-free environment.
