Among the embroidered and appliqued accents are: a boot, glove, person, frog, butterfly, child's face, fans, the initials "J.R." and date "1886." It measures 60" X 66" and is in excellent condition, with 2 silk pieces with deterioration and no wear. The back is a beautiful cotton 19th century print, the hand stitched binding is an elegant velvet cording, and the batting is thin.
