Description: This is a rare September 19th, 1915 program (playbill) from the three-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the EMMERICH KALMAN, JULIUS WILHELM, FRITZ GREENBAUM, CATHERINE CHISHOLM CUSHING and E. P. HEATH operetta "SARI" at the Chatterton Opera House in Springfield, Illinois. (The Original Broadway production opened January 13th, 1914 at New York's Liberty Theatre and ran for 151 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred MITZI HAJOS in the title role and featured J. K. MURRAY, H. W. MARSH, BILLIE BUSCH, ALBERT HEDGES, EVELYN PARNELL, CHARLES MEAKINS, FRANK FARRINGTON, JOHN SQUIRES, ROBERT BUCHANAN, JAMES NASH, GEORGE ROSS and CHARLES MURRAY ..... CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is a clipped corner at the top seam, heavy creasing and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
