My father told me that this is a running engine, but I have not heard it run so there is no guarantees. It is being sold as is. Please take careful close. Looks at all the photos. The cowling and everything appear to be in very good condition and the Inside looks like brand new. It has great compression and will probably start very easily but might require the carburetor being cleaned first etc. It is being sold as is because I have not taken the time to try to start it. Just the cowling alone from this motor sells for a couple hundred dollars, so whether you are buying this for parts or for your own use, you can’t go wrong on this motor. Is going to be expensive because of the heavyweight and the large size of this but local pick up is available and you can also come view the item before bidding if you are in the STUART Florida area. If you have friends coming down to this area, you could also have them pick it up for you as long as payment has been made. This engine is untested so it is completely up to you, but there are no returns and I think somebody is going to get an amazing deal on a very reliable engine. Great for small boats or as back up motors. The cylinder pressure on this motor is virtually identical for the two cylinders and included photos of the upper and lower with the compression meter on them. They both appear to have exactly 58 pounds of compression.
