Description: These are perfect for a transformer Color Box or saturator! It uses UI type permalloy laminations, and is wound in a humbuck fashion. Stancor was one of the big olayers in the audio transformers infustry back in the days. It's part of the CHICAGO TRANSFORMER corporation, and made trasnformers for all kinds of uses, including for the infamous Fairchild 670 and 660 tube compressors. Get this while you can, cause they don't make 'em like this anymore. Vintage transformers build quality and performance have been rediscovered in the last decades, and prices skyrocket each year. I have four of these (like you see in the last picture) so I'm selling only one pair here, and keeping the other pair for my own use. I have a big collection and now I am selling duplicate ones, so I can keep at least a pair for me. It comes in the original box, with the original protective foam and paper around it. Very hard to come buy things likes that! A rare find. All pins unsoldered and in perfect order, and all windings checked! It's good to go! The ones I'm selling here are better matched than the ones I am keeping. Use it to buid a transformer saturation color box, or just wire some cables on it, to get that wonderful transformer sound, with clean fat sound or mild to extreme saturation.
