Description: Masons Ironstone Chinese Fan Pattern Hand Colored Transferware 5 1/2 Inch Jug Nice antique Masons ironstone jug. Decorated in the Chinese Fan pattern with hand colored highlights in orange, ocher, green, and pink. Marked on the bottom Mason's above a crown in black. Circa 1820s. Has some discoloration from the firing, an in manufacture firing separation where the top of the handle is applied, and some wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 5 1/2 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
