Description: One "stroker" kit to convert a Lotus 2.0l or 2.2l engine to 2.4L capacity. The kit comprises of a billet steel crankshaft with 84.2mm stroke, lightweight steel connecting rods, big end bearings and forged high compression pistons. These kits are capable of producing 275hp and 220lbs ft of torque in a well built naturally aspirated engine. The kit is intended to be "drop in" and is designed for smooth running and long term durability. The crank is nitrided and double counterweighted. The big ends are through-drilled to improve the balance of the engine. Lightweight rods (only 515g rather than the heavy 920g rods of the standard engine) and lightweight forged pistons make this a very smooth running conversion - one of our customers told me they can balance a £1 coin on its edge on the running engine! The forged pistons have a low friction skirt coating and a top quality ring set. We have been producing these kits for many years and they are equally at home in road or competition engines.
