Description: Rare edition of this text. Book is G condition. Hardcover, no official dust jacket, but comes with a generic mylar one. Front board has a coffee mug ring stain on center, and some bubbling which likely comes from dampstaining. Fabric on boards has some white smuding in spots, and white speckling on back. Fabric on spine ripped in multiple places around the title - multiple puncture points and rips. Fabric on top/bottom of spine rubbed and ink faded. Board corners curling in - fabric fraying a bit at corners and ink in fabric rubbed. Light bumping on bottom edges of board, and rubbing along edges. A few dings on the fore edge of text block, causing some pages to have small dings on these edges. Front hinge tight, bottom of back hinge a bit tender but overall sound and strong. Previous owner stamp on front endpages. Pages toned around edges. Some splitting in gutters on title page, with webbing visible, and < ~1 in crack forming on bottom of gutter - but doesn't feel loose and is robust. Similar on pgs 92-93. Pgs 93-104 have a small hole near gutter where it looks like something burrowed through a few pages (see photos). Some pages have small/minor blemish marks, like small dot or line marks or smudges. Pgs 119-122 have small brownish spot on fore edge. Otherwise, text is clean and clear of writing and markings. Overall, binding in good shape and sound. Advertisements in back of book.
