Description: Rare Tele Lentar 105mm f2.8 preset portrait lens in M42 mount. Lens is clean and clear and free of any fungus or haze. Blades are smooth. Has a 10 blade near circular aperture for smooth bokeh. Focus and aperture rings are smooth. Lens produces nice glowing out of focus areas, and smooth dreamy bokeh. Includes front and rear caps. So what's a "preset lens"? Preset lenses have 2 aperture rings. The outer ring "presets" the minimum aperture you can use. The inner ring rotates smoothly from wide open f2.8 down to the preset aperture. This allows you to smoothly adjust the aperture from wide open down to the preset aperture to get the exact out of focus effect you want. There are no aperture stops. It takes a little getting used to but changes up how you approach shooting. Sample images were taken with a Sony A7iii (neutral, auto WB, auto ISO, jpeg straight from camera).
