Description: This is a wonderful late 1800's AAFA original red painted tin nutmeg storage container with domed top that says "Nutmeg" in worn gold lettering. Comes complete with a tiny hand punched nutmeg grater in the interior. Lots of age-related wear and patina. Found in Upstate New York. I love and am drawn to rare and unusual kitchen items and nutmeg graters and this is definitely a good one! Container measures 3 1/4" high x 2 1/2" round.
