Kubota ZB600C Block 2 Cylinder Diesel Engine

Description: Kubota ZB600C engine block salvaged off a unkown model year. The engine was running great until a rod bearing failed in July,2020. The engine had a connecting rod bearing failure and was torn down and considered for repair. Repair was never done as the crank journal was too worn for oversized bearings and a replacement crank was too expensive for the owner to bother with repair. The rod stayed intact and didn't break free from the crank and didn't damage the block. The only reason this is listed as parts or repair rather than used is that it sat in the garage for a few months and the cylinder bores acquired some surface rust sitting through summer humidity. The rust isn't significant and may hone out, however, please keep it in mind. The rust is only in spots of the bores that were scraped dry of oil by the piston rings when removing the pistons. The cylinders are dry sleeved in these ZB600 engines and can be replaced. This might be useful to someone looking to replace a block that can't be repaired. Assume it as a bare block needing sleeves and any bushings/bearings replaced. Head surface cleaned up,etc. Its better than a block with a hole but may need a little work. I removed nearly all of the old gasket material. The part number to order sleeves to the best of my knowledge is 15901-02310 Free shipping in Canada and to the United States. Any questions just send a message. Please note this is a ZB600C block and not a ZB600 Is there any difference? I don't believe there is but I'm not sure. The ZB600C used a radiator mounted to the block itself and the ZB600 generally used a water plate on the block for rad hose connecting to a remote radiator. I assume they're the same block with different cooling methods which designated the 'C' in the model. Once again that's just my quick observation.
