Description: K*R Gretchen #114 - 16" Reproduction doll with antique clothing & hand-made shoes I have had several Reproduction Gretchens but this face was so softly painted, giving it a gentle look and this is the Gretchen that has been in my collection for years. I have had shoes made for her - found a vintage dress and hat on Ruby Lane and added the little bear so she is styled in light blues, creams and browns. She wears a red mohair wig. The doll features a bisque socket head with incised markings ‘K*R 114 but I am unable to read the artist’ name. The doll has painted light blue eyes with molded lids, single-stroke eyebrows, and a closed, pouty mouth. Her body is a fully jointed composition body. This doll is a reproduction of the German K*R art character series. All items come from a non smoking home **I pack carefully. Item will be insured.
