Description: The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R Tolkien. Second edition, first impressions 1966 published by George Allen & Unwin. Price clipped dust jackets are generally tidy, a little wear to the edges. The Fellowship jacket has some rubbing to the spine, plus a small tear to the lower fore edge. The Fellowship jacket is good, the other two very good. Jackets are now in smart removable protective wrappers. Red covers, some small bumps to the edges plus a little wear, bright gilt lettering to the spines, red top edges, securely bound. The fore edge of page blocks have some spotting, pages otherwise clean and tidy, without inscriptions, complete with fold out maps at the end of each volume. Good + condition.
