Description: ITALY Stamps, 1934 Rocket Mail "ESPERIMENTI DI POSTA PER RAZZO" (A1) RARE!Il primo esperimento di posta razzo in Italia si ebbe nel 1934 ad opera dell’ingegnere tedesco Gerard Zuecker, il quale iniziò ad effettuare i suoi primi esperimenti di razzi destinati al trasporto della corrispondenza in Germania, senza però fare colpo sulle gerarchie militari naziste, ed è cosi’che iniziò a girare l’Europa in cerca di finanziatori arrivando anche in Italia,a Trieste.Per l’occasione non furono emessi francobolli, bensì due fascette triangolari (4000 esemplari per tipo) per commemorare l’evento; per il trasporto”razzo espresso”veniva richiesta una sovrattassa di Lire 5 e di Lire 7,70 appositamente segnalata nelle fascette che poi venivano applicate su tutta la corrispondenza Le due fascette avevano queste caratteristiche: Lire 5 fondo rosso e scritte verdi e Lire 7,70 fondo grigio-azzurro usate a piacere, singolarmente o in coppia, su aerogrammi regolarmente affrancati con francobolli italiani quasi sempre commemorativi del 1° Centenario delle Medaglie al Valor Militare.Gli annulli speciali utilizzati per l’esperimento ed applicati sulla corrispondenza furono due: 1) un lineare rosso con indicazione “OTTOBRE/ESPERIMENTI DI POSTA/PER RAZZO ESPRESSO/TRIESTE/1934” , 2) annullo circolare viola-nero con indicazione “ESPERIMENTO DI POSTA – PER RAZZO ESPRESSO – TRIESTE – OTTOBRE 1934” See the actual pictures for grading and condition.
