The exterior is a very shiny buffed teal-blue with an inlaid floral design that is simply beautiful. The interior has a soft pink velvet interior that has a depth of nearly 2 inches and a small shelf. The jewelry compartment itself measures 6" by 4." The entire box measures 10.5" by 6."
