Description: A beautiful charger with inlaid silver and copper Arabic calligraphy and patterns. Known as 'Cairo Ware', this style was particularly popular during the Mamluk Revival of the late 19th century. It's 49cm in diameter and is in good condition overall with a nice patina. A part of the copper inlay is loose. A stunning piece to hang on a wall. We recommend viewing all the photos before making an offer. We do our best to showcase any flaws, although please keep in mind that we offer older pieces and some may have imperfections. We are happy to answer any questions to help you make the right decision. Thank you for considering this piece from Taliesin Antiques, where the past meets the present.
