Description: You are bidding on An Illustrated Flora of the Northern United States, Canada and the British Possessions Vol. 1 written by Nathaniel Lord Britton and Hon. Addison Brown. Published in 1913 by Charles Scribner's Sons (New York), this 680 page hardcover book is a wonderful illustrated reference to every plant in the northern part of North America. This hardcover book has hand cut pages. The inside is very clean and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.This is volume 1 of a 3 volume set. I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I'm also open to local pick-up in Fairhaven MA. I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
