Description: The exterior of this Hickok 6000 is pretty beat up with the red cloth/paper peeling off the case. The same is happening on the inside of the lid, however, the front panel of the tester looks terrific. The tester has been sitting in storage for years but powers up. The meter holds steady when adjusting the line voltage. We checked out a 12AX7 and the filaments glow. The reading seems very low, but the tube is untested otherwise so maybe it's just bad. In short, basic functionality seems OK but this unit really needs to be "gone through" by a qualified tech and is being sold as-is for restoration.
