It can hold a LOT of pennies! Undoubtedly vintage - says the only other comparable I could find - this was imported by Henriksen Imports Inc., out of San Francisco CA. Said pig measures 14” from snout to tail; its girth, around the fat belly, is 24”, and the whole piece measures 31” in longitudinal circumference. This is a Big Pig. The ceramic pig is white with bright red, raised flowers painted on its sides, with yellow dotted centers and bright green stems and leaves. Pig has long eyelashes (don’t all pigs?), another flower on its forehead, and the sweetest smile ever. The piggy tail is doubled over to form a delightful handle. Has its original rubber stopper. This bank can easily double as a decorative object - it has both form and function as well as whimsy. In really nice condition - some expected crazing on the sides, a bit of paint loss here and there and one red petal has ceramic fire marks on it - but honestly? Completely delightful.
