Description: I have for sale the 1969 bronze medal that commemorates the 275th anniversary of Harwich, Massachusetts. Harwich was founded in 1694 and its a New England town on Cape Cod in Barnstable County. The medal is bronze, it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition and it also comes with a history pamphlet of Harwich. The medal obverse shows the elements of the town seal along with 275th - ANNIVERSARY at the bottom rim. The reverse depicts the two industries, agriculture and fishing around which Harwich developed and prospered. In the bottom scene it has the years 1694-1969.
