This rod was made before bamboo rods became mainstream, and is made of wood, as the name suggests. The grips are all made of wood, and the reel seat is made of brass. It has a unique action, but it can also be used for actual fishing. It is full length, and there are small scratches on the blank, but no major scratches that would cause damage. There is some bending and warping on the blank. All the guides have been changed to old snake guides and are rewrapped. The spikes on the spike ferrules are not broken, and the ferrules are solid.
