Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Greg Allman and Duane Allman titled "Greg & Duane Allman", originally released in 1973 by Springboard Records, from previously releases by the group Hourglass, then there was a second release in 1975, as indicated by the etching "8/75" in the dead wax. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is a machine stamped "TR" inside a circle along with an etched CR 8/75, followed by "TVC", signifying that this record was mastered at Tracy-Val Corporation of Somerdale, New Jersey, by Carl Rowati in August of 1975 before it was made across the street at Superior Record Pressing's pressing plant, located in Somerdale, New Jersey. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put this album into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Very Good Plus because of a ring wear, corner blunts, a little foxing and edge rubs. The spine has damage to the corners resulting in color loss, along with fraying. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, with superficial sleeve marks, but without any surface scratches or scuffs. The vinyl is play graded as Near Mint. It plays all the way through without any surface noise, skips, pops or lock-ups from start to finish. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please take a look at my other Southern Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all genres, listed in my Ebay store. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
