Description: Gorham Double Ended Purse Cut Glass Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Ends Here is a lovely small cut glass perfume bottle with double sterling silver repoussé lids. It dates from around 1870. The silver caps are beautifully decorated with repoussé flower designs and close securely. It is also delicately monogrammed with a single letter: W. It is marked on the collar with the word Sterling and the Gorham silversmiths maker's mark. The scent bottle and its caps are in excellent antique condition. There is one tiny bubble in the faceted glass which is original to the bottle and is very typical for antique glass. There are no chips, or cracks to be found. Victorian Era, c 1870 Tops are both sterling silver. Markings read Sterling S2286. Please see photos.
